Toronto rocks

Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto was a benefit rock concert that was held in Toronto on July 30, 2003. It was also known as the "SARS concert", or, more descriptively, "The Rolling Stones SARS Benefit Concert". Estimated to have between 450,000 and 500,000 people attending the concert, it is the largest outdoor ticketed event in Canadian history, and one of the largest in North American history. Brant's team was instrumental in designing and managing all consumer areas of the event.

world youth day 2002

World Youth Day 2002 was a Catholic youth festival held July 23-July 28, 2002, in Toronto. It is a celebration of faith begun by Pope John Paul II held on an international level every two to three years, and WYD2002 was the 10th such event. An estimated 400,000-500,000 youths from all over the world participated in the week-long festival. Brant and his team were instrumental in layout, design and management of all amenities in the on-site consumers areas both at Downsview Park and Exhibition Place. World Youth Day 2002 holds the distinction of being the largest outdoor event ever held in Canada. Ferrari canada

Beginning in 2010 Brant and his team designed and orchestrated the re-launch of Ferrari's branded merchandise program in Canada handling all operational logistics of  a national live event retail merchandise  tour which generated over 1 million dollars in sales annually with premiere appearances at high profile motorsports events including the Grand Prix F1 Du Canada in Montreal. 


As a founding partner of Maraca Canada, a full service marketing agency formed in 1988, Brant went on to spend almost 30 years in the promotional marketing industry with a proven track record in developing, executing and managing campaigns throughout North America through the creation of customized promotional marketing programs and special events initiatives for many blue chip clients that brought their products and services face-to-face with consumers including Bridgestone Canada, Moosehead Breweries, Carlsberg Canada, Suncor Energy (Sunoco), Mack Trucks, Pioneer Fuels, Molson Coors, The National Hockey League, The Canadian Football League and Trillium Hospitals. This body of work included sponsorship activation, brand positioning, mobile promotional tours, "feet on the street" campaigns, promotional products and licensed merchandise programs in addition to the production of major events such as World Youth Day 2002, The Molson Canadian Toronto Rocks Concert in 2003 and multiple events on the IndyCar and Formula One Circuit. In 2014 Brant formed The MMC Group to focus solely on a providing a full range of Event Services to assist clients in the design and execution of their brand activation initiatives as well as consumer and corporate event needs.

Microsoft Windows XP

Brant was instrumental in execution of a national same day launch of the new Windows XP software with simultaneous event activations in multiple major Canadian markets.

A graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton in 1987, Brant began his marketing career at Vickers and Benson Advertising in Toronto. Brant's attention to detail was key to the success of the Gatorade (Quaker Oats) Grass Roots Summer Sampling Program and The University Campus Representative Program when the product was launched in Canada.

Brant then went on to work for Communique Limited, one of the country’s leading Special Events Marketing firms. At Communique, Brant worked on the development and execution of several promotional marketing campaigns for companies such as Labatt Breweries of Canada, The National Hockey League, Warner Lambert, Lever Brothers, American Express Canada and Thomas J. Lipton.


Bridgestone Firestone canada

Brant and his team have played a key role in the design, development and execution of countless dealer events and national grass roots sports marketing initiatives for Bridgestone Firestone including their sponsorship of and on-site execution at the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic in Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Detroit.

Edmonton Indy

The Edmonton Indy was a round of the IndyCar Series held the Edmonton City Centre Airport .The inaugural race was held in 2005 and was known as the West Edmonton Mall Grand Prix. Brant was an instrumental part of the organizing committee that brought championship racing to Edmonton and went on to manage the layout and design for a  further 5 years of racing in Edmonton. Brant has spent 25 years in motorsports event management and has also worked on IndyCar events in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Miami, Houston and Cleveland in addition to The Formula One race in Montreal.
